What is AudioRadmin?

AudioRadmin is a client for controlling an audio player such as XMMS or WinAmp over a network. It is written in Java for a bit of portability.

Its control features include:

  • Current Track title display
  • Current Track time display
  • Track control (Play, Stop, Pause, Next, Previous)
  • Track position (Jump around in track)
  • Volume
  • Balance
  • Playlist
  • Equalizer

AudioRadmin currently has support for the following plugins, although none of them provide all capabilities. Currently, the most functional is audioradmin-xmms.

What does it look like?

Take a look at some of the screenshots of the default GUI

AudioRadmin doesn't have to look like this, though. You're more than welcome to program your own User Interface (it doesn't have to be GUI). For more information see the documentation.
